Dido & Aeneas

Description

     Dido & Aeneas is a Baroque-era opera that is performed entirely in English.  Live musicians, opera singers, and members of the Fishers Community Chorus will re-tell the story of Virgil's Aeneid with all its romance and treachery.  This atmospheric musical features engaging characters including Queen Dido, her handmaiden Belinda, Trojan hero Aeneas, clever witches, and an evil Sorceress.  

     Tickets are $15 each (plus processing fee).  This show is family-friendly, and children under 18 are admitted free WITH A CHILD TICKET (please choose this option during ticket ordering process).  Show length: 1 hour, no intermission.

     Projekt:Opera is dedicated to presenting opera in an approachable way for all audiences.  Projekt:Opera is a Fishers Music Works ensemble and the community's only opera performance troupe.  Fishers Music Works is a local non-profit performing arts organization.  Our mission is to bring neighbors together to ignite and fuel their passion for professional and quality performing arts.
